PhD in Sociology of Communication. Researcher at the Instituto de Ciências Sociais of the Universidade de Lisboa holding a post-doctoral scholarship granted by the Fundação de Ciência e Tecnologia. Member of the founding team of Observa, participated in research projects like the First National Survey on Representations and Practices of the Portuguese about Environment, and Media, Public Opinion and Environment. Currently is working on research projects on the role of the media in the social construction of energy issues, climate change, coastal erosion and food.
